A Great Resource for California HR Professionals
For the past dozen years I’ve been a member of CalChamber. It costs around $400 or so yearly to join, depending on the level of membership, and it’s well worth it (Preferred Memberships start at $599.00+). As I’ve pointed out many times, California can be a tricky place to practice HR and it’s not getting any easier. I’ve made countless calls to CalChamber seeking clarification on cloudy issues and I’ve always gotten solid advice. While surfing the web tonight I saw this article from CalChamber and it’s a good example of their work. The article, The Top 10 Things Employers Do to Get Sued, should be framed and mounted in every business owner’s office. Possibly Related Posts: A 2018 Train Wreck Coming?
