The CBO Report on the Foreign Born Population
The CBO recently updated its report on the foreign born in the United States, and the data is very interesting. For example, after 1910 (when the percentage of foreign born was at its historical peak, about 13-15 percent), the percentage of foreign born in the United States began dropping, reaching a low of 5 percent by 1970. Once Again: More Taxes in California
It’ s not getting any better in California. The state, still desperate for money after years of government spending sprees, has now decided to add an additional 3.5 cents tax to gasoline. Productivity Tool or Big Brother?
If you haven’t seen it, the Independent ran an article by Kevin Rawlinson about Tesco and their use of “armbands” to increase the productivity of its employees.
